Responsible for handling second level support and service requests. The role is responsibility for network analysis and design, technology support, client support. The resource will be required to provide top level support for any network issues ranging from implementation of new networks, troubleshooting outages for local and remote networks. Supporting Datacenter infrastructure network activities like configure switches and troubleshoot connectivity, slowness. Additional responsibilities include handling second level support and service requests related to all supported technology including but not limited to: workstations, servers, printers, and Office applications.
What You'll Be Doing
configure, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot production network infrastructure and associated services
Participate in an on-call rotation shifts for 24/7 and attend to network incidents
Adhere to change control policy requirements
Contribute to optimize and minimize support issues on Network infrastructure.
Contribute to the build and support of multiple new Data Center projects that are in plan.
Create and maintain documentation of network processes, procedures and create SOP for task which are repeated.
Identify and solve problems related to overall infrastructure performance, efficiency, and availability in a timely manner
Required Skills
5+ years of experience working on current network technologies.
Bachelor degree in Engineering or graduate degree.
Proficient in network configuration management and automation tools (Python, Ansible) Cisco Network Certifications (CCNA/CCNP) Familiar with Cisco ACI and Nexus Data Center switching ~ Exported from Ongig ~ Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network fundamentals. Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Cisco router and switches Ability to analyze network packet captures Ability to work after hours to support projects and maintenance activities. Potential travel to support field office projects. Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
Good verbal, written interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to migrate between tasks Additional Qualifications Possess solid knowledge of security best practice
Experience troubleshooting networking in Linux (RHEL, CentOS or Ubuntu) Experience with working in a global team environment and solving problems independently.
